I am an actively practicing, board-certified emergency physician with more than 20 years of experience, and a newly licensed attorney. Throughout my career, I have evaluated and treated tens of thousands of patients with medical, traumatic, pediatric, and psychiatric emergencies while serving in both community and academic settings. My background also includes military service as a physician in the U.S. Army Reserve, providing additional experience in emergency preparedness, trauma care, and crisis decision-making. I hold a Juris Doctor degree, giving me a unique understanding of the legal process and the standards required for effective expert witness testimony. As an expert witness, I provide objective, well-reasoned opinions in cases involving emergency medicine, emergency department standards of care, medical malpractice, EMTALA, patient safety, documentation, and hospital operations.
