Dr. Pamela Hall is a licensed psychologist in the State of California with 40 years of clinical expertise and 15 years of forensic expertise regarding the impact of psychological injury on social and occupational functioning. Because consultees and examinees deserve to return to their highest abilities after a psychological injury, a restorative justice narrative infuses her forensic work. As a psychotherapist, Dr. Hall became trauma-informed from 1981 to 2013 through listening to people with lived experience and following trauma-related research. Dr. Hall has been committed to consultation in the workplace as a requested speaker and employee assistance provider to improve occupational mental health. While operating her own private practice from 1997-2013, Dr. Hall collaborated with community providers and law enforcement in family violence cases, conducting a diversion education program for convicted offenders. Dr. Hall was a member of the Domestic Violence Intervention Consortium for the County of San Bernardino. She was honored to serve as chair of the committee from 2010-2012. In 2008, Dr. Hall began to provide disability examinations for veterans and service members as a contracted provider with QTC Management. To date, she has conducted over 7,500 benefits examinations. PTSD was the question in the bulk of these examinations. Traumatic brain injury and/or chronic pain were often overlapping questions. For the past ten years, Dr. Hall’s forensic activity has expanded into worker’s compensation and civil and criminal litigation. Her decades of clinical and community work have prepared her to provide expert opinions regarding the psychological impact of warzone and other work-related trauma exposure, sexual assault, criminal assault, and catastrophic disaster. Dr. Hall has witnessed a range of psychological responses to chronic pain, burn injuries, and other chronic medical conditions. She has provided cognitive and competency assessments for specific, cumulative, and progressive changes to the brain.
