Marc J. Levine, MD graduated from Lehigh University with Phi Beta Kappa honors. He then received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and went on to complete a surgical internship at Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Levine returned to Thomas Jefferson University for his orthopaedic surgical residency and continued on to do a fellowship in spinal surgery at the prestigious Emory University Spine Center in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Levine is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and active with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Levine is a full time practicing spinal surgeon whose practice for over 22 years has soley focused on spinal surgery. His patient population includes, traditional insurances with significant experience managing workers compensation and motor vehicle injuries. Dr. Levine is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rutgers Medical School and serves as Director of Spine Surgery and Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery.He is a founding Board Member of an outpatient ambulatory surgery center. Dr. Levine has served and continues to serve on multiple hospital committees including Medical Executive, Medical Quality, Surgial Peer Review and Surgical Council. In addition to numerous publications and presentations, Dr. Levine is a text book editor, peer review journal reviewer and orthopaedic journal advisory board member. He remains active organizing, chairing and moderating numerous spine meetings. Other leadership roles include serving as the 224th President of the Medical Society of New Jersey and 51st President of the Eastern Orthopaedic Association. Dr. Levine is a seasoned spinal surgeon who can meticulously analyze a medicial case and effectively educate others.
