Award-winning hospice physician with extensive expertise in hospice and palliative care medicine and regulatory/compliance issues. Double board certified in Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care. Dr. Parker completed his undergraduate studies at Xavier University of Louisiana. He earned his M.D. from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his residency at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, LA, where he served as co-chief resident his third year of residency. He later earned a master’s degree in Health Administration, with a specialization in Health Care Ethics, at St Joseph’s University in Philadelphia in 2014. Dr. Parker holds memberships in several organizations, including the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and currently serves as a Board Member on the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s Board of Directors, the Southern Nevada Senior Law Program and State of Nevada POLST Board.
