Dr. Ryan is an actively-practicing and board-certified medical oncologist and a Professor of Medicine at a major U.S. medical University. His clinical practice is specialized to the treatment of genitourinary cancers (prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular) and sarcomas (soft tissue and bone malignancies). An active clinical researcher and leader in the field, Dr. Ryan is author of 200+ peer-reviewed research articles, meeting abstracts, book chapters, reviews and editorials. His academic contributions are widely recognized, with a Scopus H-index of 44, and he has lectured nationally and internationally on oncology topics. Dr. Ryan has over 20 years of experience in medico-legal work on behalf of both plaintiff and defense clients that has included medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, and product liability matters. Dr. Ryan can provide causation and standard-of-care testimony. His opinions are based on careful review of the latest peer-reviewed literature and published medical guidelines, was well as his 25-years' experience in the direct treatment of cancer patients and leader of practice-changing clinical studies.
