I have extensive experience in Pediatric Critical Care and Pediatric Hospital Medicine and am board certified in both Pediatric Critical Care and General Pediatrics. My residency and fellowship training were completed at Weill Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital. I have over 15 years of clinical experience and have served as Department Chair and Medical Director for 8 years. I am now Chief Medical Officer at Baptist Women’s and Children’s Hospital. I am highly experienced in caring for infants, children, and adolescents with all forms of critical illness including respiratory failure, ARDS, multi-system organ failure, sepsis, shock, and procedural sedation. I am highly experienced in pediatric case reviews serving on multiple hospital professional practice evaluation committees. I also hold a Physician Executive MBA with education, knowledge, and experience in health care law and administration. I am in good standing with Tennessee and Virginia medical boards, hold active licenses in both states, and have no history of negative judgements or disciplinary actions of any kind. My aim to provide comprehensive, clear, and objective expert medical opinions based upon evidenced-based practices and standards of care for case reviews and legal proceedings.
