Dr. Nasim Gorji, DO is a board-certified neonatologist and Harvard Medical Faculty Physician with a decade of experience managing critically ill newborns in both academic and community neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). She attends high risk deliveries, stabilizes these newborns in the delivery room, and cares for medically complex neonates for months after their birth. She also has extensive experience stabilizing critically ill neonates for transport to higher-level tertiary care hospitals. She is a distinguished educator, having held academic appointments as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and interim Associate Program Director of a Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship program in the Boston area. Her expertise extends to curriculum development, where she has designed and implemented educational programs for medical students, residents, and fellows. Dr. Gorji is a recognized leader in neonatal resuscitation, serving as an instructor who trains multidisciplinary teams in life-saving techniques at birth.
