Dr. Brooke Blicher is a board-certified Clinical Endodontist in private practice in White River Junction, Vermont. Outside of clinical practice, she teaches dentists at all levels of training, working with predoctoral students and postdoctoral residents at both Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Tufts School of Dental Medicine, as well as practicing clinicians through Pulp Nonfiction Endodontics, LLC, a continuing education collaborative she founded. Dr. Blicher has written and lectured extensively on endodontic diagnosis and treatment, restorative care, interdisciplinary treatment planning, dental imaging and CBCT, dental pharmacology, dental anesthesia and pain management, non-odontogenic pain, fractured teeth, traumatic dental injuries, resorptive dental diseases, and preventing and managing complications in endodontics, among other topics. Dr. Blicher is the coauthor of the top rated Endodontics textbooks, "Endodontics Review", now in its second edition, and "Clinical Endodontics", and has authored several other textbook chapters, including “Diagnosis and Treatment Planning” in Principles and Practice of Endodontics. She has published nearly 50 articles in peer reviewed dental journals, including on the management of complications in dentistry, and been featured in podcasts and other media in her field. Dr. Blicher received her BA in Chemistry from Colgate University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, her DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with honors in research, and her certificate in Endodontics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, a status achieved by less than a quarter of practitioners, and a Fellow in both the American College of Dentistry and the International College of Dentistry. She has been involved in organized dentistry, serving on the board of her local dental society and as a member of several committees for the American Association of Endodontists. Dr. Blicher’s clinical abilities combined with her up to date knowledge of evidence-based practice lends valuable expertise in her roles as an expert consultant and witness. She is efficient, responsive, and an excellent communicator able to support any team with whom she collaborates.
