Dr. Vidgop is a highly distinguished Physician, Board Certified in Neurology and fellowship trained in Neurophysiology. She has over 15 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient setting with seven years of practice in Telemedicine particularly Tele-Stroke. She has built an Integrative Headache Clinic where a multimodal approach was used and collaborated with other specialists and holistic providers to offer patients a comprehensive treatment plan. She serves as a Stroke Medical Director for Mercy One and in this role, she aids in the development of stroke related patient care policies and procedures, formal review of outlier cases and care rendered. She reviews clinical practice guidelines and process improvement activities within the program. She plans and assists with ongoing evaluation of Primary stroke center and helps prepare the hospital for DNV and JCAHO surveys. As a Regional Medical Director for multiple hospital systems across the country she collaborates with stroke coordinators, stroke nurses, hospital staff and management in the optimization of acute stroke care using Six Sigma principles. She has done on-site training, value stream mapping and helped facilities achieve over 50% improvement in door to needle times. She is an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern Medical School and has taught medical students and lectured to staff at Neuroscience symposium. She is a member as has served as a board member of Broward County Medical Association. Currently she practices as a Neurologist for Telespecialists and is licensed in over 35 states and hold privileges in over 200 hospitals across the country. She sees over 300 patient a month with a variety of acute, complex neurological conditions. She is a team leader with supervisory and management experience. She has strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills and performs well in fast paced and high stress situations. Experience with review of claims and depositions.
