Board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician in full-time active clinical practice. Experienced expert witness at both deposition and trial, and has reviewed over 100 legal cases as a consulting expert. Clinical experience includes trauma centers, academic institutions, community settings, freestanding EDs, and rural hospitals. Experienced teacher of Emergency Medicine resident physicians. Co-inventor of a novel endotracheal device (RSI Prime, LLC; patent pending) that incorporates an adapted carbon dioxide detector with a modified bougie (an adjunct for difficult airways). Serves as an initial medical malpractice case reviewer for TeamHealth, the largest national physician staffing agency in the United States, since 2024. In early 2026, was named the case reviewer supervisor (Associate Director of Litigation Support), responsible for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of case reviewers, as well as quality control of case reviews. Additionally, fellowship-trained by the Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM) on subjects such as hypothermia, frostbite, heat stroke, altitude illness, animal attacks, and bites from poisonous animals. Currently a candidate for a Diploma in Dive & Marine Medicine (DiDMM) with a further focus on dive injuries such as decompression sickness aka “the bends.”
