Served as the first Robert A. Zimmerman Endowed Chair of Pediatric Neuroradiology at the Children Hospital of Philadelphia. Served as the Chief of Pediatric Neuroradiology and Professor of Radiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Served as the Consultant Adult Neuroradiologist for the Mediterranean Institute for the Mediterranean Institute for Transplantation and Advanced Specialized Therapies. Giulio Zuccoli MD has authored over 200 peer reviewed publications in the field of Adult and Pediatric Neuroradiology. Leading Expert in the field of metabolic, mitochondrial disorders and hypoxic ischemic injury, he has uncovered new neuroimaging findings in Wernicke Encephalopathy (Vit B1 deficiency), mitochondrial encephalopathies, stroke and traumatic brain injury.
