He serves as President of Virginia Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates, PC. He has served as the department chairman of Podiatric Foot & Ankle Surgery and a member of various hospital committees at his local medical health care intuitions. Triple board certified by; American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery - Foot Surgery, American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery - Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery and American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Fellowship trained in foot and ankle trauma/reconstructive surgery. The first at the world renowned Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics, Kurgan, Russia. Second, at the Istituto Clinico Humanitas Hospital, Milano, Italy. Dr. Disabato has been trained in traditional podiatric and orthopaedic surgical methods. He has undergone specialized training in reconstructive surgery, peripheral nerve surgery/microsurgery, plastic surgery, total ankle joint replacement surgery, Russian Ilizarov Method, lower extremity wound management and limb salvage, bunion and hammer toe correction, and drop foot deformity correction. He has studied reconstructive and trauma surgery of the lower extremity throughout the USA, Asia, Europe, South America, and Russia. His practice encompasses all aspects of foot and ankle care including simple and complex deformity management, medical and surgical intervention of traumatic injuries, microsurgical procedures, total ankle replacement surgery, preventive and interventional management of diabetic foot, ankle and leg complications.
