Dr. Pisula is an emergency medicine physician with over 20,000 hours of clinical practice. During that time, he has evaluated over 40,000 patients in the Emergency Department setting. He currently practices full-time in southern Georgia with clinical time split between a regional medical center and a small community hospital. Dr. Pisula is experienced as an expert witness: o Provided reviews in over 100 cases since 2022 o Worked with both plaintiff and defense o Provided testimony at deposition and trial Dr. Pisula is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He has also won numerous awards for his care of patients including the 2024 "Excellence in Care Award" from SGMC Health. Dr. Pisula is also an associate professor of emergency medicine at Mercer University with over 4,000 hours of teaching experience with residents and medical students. He was awarded membership into Alpha Omega Alpha in 2024 as well as "Faculty Member of the Year" in 2023 for his work as a faculty member in emergency medicine.
