She is an Ophthalmic physician and surgeon , and fellowship (post residency ) trained in Glaucoma Diseases and Surgery. She practices comprehensive Eyecare and treatments, specializing in Glaucoma Diseases, Glaucoma Lasers and Surgeries as well as Cataracts and Cataract Surgery. Her educational background includes: New York University for both her undergraduate and ophthalmology residency , Mount Sinai School of Medicine, as well as New York Eye and Ear Infirmary for glaucoma fellowship training . She is also an Assistant Professor and Adjunct Surgeon at New York Eye and Ear at Mount Sinai, where she teaches eye medical residents Glaucoma Diseases , Glaucoma Laser Surgery and Glaucoma Surgeries as well as Cataract Surgery .She Is the physician and practice owner of Hudson Ophthalmology and has been practicing and serving Westchester and the Cortlandt Manor/ Yorktown / Peekskill area since 2000. In recognition of her expertise and contributions to the field of medicine, Dr. Marcelin has received numerous accolades. She was honored with Westchester County's McDonough Trailblazer Award in 2018 and was designated as a Healthcare Hero by Westchester Magazine in 2020. Furthermore, she has been consistently recognized as one of Castle Connolly's Top Doctors from 2021 -2024, a distinction awarded by her peers on a national level. In 2023 & 2024, she received the additional honors from Castle Connolly for “Exceptional Women in Medicine” & “Top Black Doctor’s” in US.  Dr. Marcelin's commitment to medical education is evident through her role as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai since 2020. She also serves as the Founder and Medical Director of Hudson Ophthalmology (established in 2010) and Hudson Aesthetics MD (established in 2022), two esteemed private practices located in Cortlandt Manor, Westchester County, New York. She is on the board of the Vision Restoration project and has been going on medical eye missions to Haiti to treat the global ophthalmic underserved communities. She was born , bred and medical trained in New York City and resides in Westchester Country with her husband and children.
