I am a clinical cardiologist with over 40 years of experience, widely published author and a clinical investigator with national and international reputation. Currently I am a professor of cardiology at the University of southern California. My clinical activities include managing a wide spectrum of complex cardiac patients. My main areas of research include, heart failure, cardiomyopathies, valvular heart disease and cardiac problems in young women and during pregnancy. . For almost 35 years I practiced invasive and interventional cardiology and performed thousands of invasive procedures. I have a national and international reputation and have given hundreds of lectures and directed educational programs in the US and around the globe. I have been the director of the annual Los Angeles heart failure symposium for the last 30 years and the chairman of the annual International Congress on Cardiac Problems in Pregnancy for the last 15 years. I was awarded the prestigious American College of Cardiology 2021 award for leadership in women's cardiovascular disease. Although legal consulting is only a small part of my professional activity, over the last 3 decades I have had a considerable experience serving as an expert witness, working as a consultant in both plaintiff and defense cases and having a substantial experience giving deposition , testimonies and appearing in court.
