Reyes is a nationally retained Vocational Expert, Life Care Planner, and Medical Cost Projection specialist with more than 20 years of professional experience evaluating employability, earning capacity, and future medical and rehabilitation costs in personal injury, employment, disability, and workers’ compensation matters. Dr. Reyes is the President and Founder of MTBM Global Vocational Experts, Life Care Planners & Adjusters, an ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 27001 (Information Security Management) certified firm, as well as a HUBZone and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certified organization. Through this practice, Dr. Reyes provides vocational evaluation, life care planning, medical cost projection analysis, and expert testimony services for attorneys, insurers, and government entities throughout the United States. Dr. Reyes’ expert work focuses on the evaluation of employability, vocational capacity, labor market access, lost earning capacity, life care planning, future medical cost projections, and rebuttal analysis of opposing vocational and life care planning reports. He has provided opinions in cases involving personal injury, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, employment litigation, workers’ compensation, long-term disability, medical malpractice, and product liability matters. In addition to litigation support, Dr. Reyes has served in leadership roles in the vocational rehabilitation field and has worked extensively in vocational assessment, rehabilitation counseling, disability management, and return-to-work programming. Dr. Reyes holds a Doctorate in Vocational Rehabilitation, Research, and Administration from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
