3Additional Information
I am a Board Certified and practicing emergency physician at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven CT where I have practiced for the last 20 years. I completed my medical degree at the University of Virginia, my residency in emergency medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte NC, and an emergency ultrasound fellowship at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago IL. I am Chief of the Section of Emergency Ultrasound in the Yale Department of Emergency Medicine and a Full Professor in the Clinician Scientist track at Yale School of Medicine. My research interests include ultrasound imaging, diagnosis, pulmonary embolism, aortic dissection, kidney stones, CT imaging, and incidental findings. My clinical practice includes the main YNHH hospital as well as the Saint Raphael's Emergency Department and the freestanding Shoreline Medical Center in Guilford CT. I have also practiced for five years at a community emergency department in Rutland Vermont. I have done expert reviews for the last 10 years including depositions and trial. I typically review about 10 cases per year, and will go further with cases that have merit.
