Additional Information

I am a Registered Medical Diagnostic Ultrasonographer with 20+ years experience. I have worked in a wide variety of medical environments including radiology departments in hospitals, private practices, and outpatient clinics. I have been working exclusively in the MFM High Risk OB/GYN field since 2015. I am ARDMS registered (since 2004) in the following specialties: Abdomen/Small Parts, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Neurosonology, Vascular Technology, and Fetal Echocardiography. I am Nuchal Translucency certified, as well as certified in Uterine Artery Doppler Studies, CLEAR Cervical Length Assessment, and First Trimester Nasal Bone. I am also a current and active member of SDMS and AIUM, both since 2004. I hold a Master of Healthcare Management from the University of Arizona; graduating with a 3.833 GPA and the Eller Masters Excellence Award. I graduated with honors and The Excellence Achievement Award from my Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program in NYC in 2004. I also graduated Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian for the Northern Arizona University School of Performing Arts in 2000, for my dual Bachelor of Arts degree. My background in theatre has given me exceptional presentation and communication skills, especially in front of groups of people. I have a passion for my unique field of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound. I also enjoy teaching, and often take the lead with mentoring and training ultrasound students and new graduates.
