Dr. William Conte is a board-certified neurologist and fellowship-trained neuroimmunologist with nationally recognized expertise in multiple sclerosis (MS) and other autoimmune diseases of the central nervous system. He currently leads a large comprehensive MS and neuroimmunology center and maintains an active clinical practice while also serving as an investigator on several research trials. Dr. Conte is a National MS Society-designated “Partner in MS Care” and recipient of numerous national awards, including the prestigious Sylvia Lawry Fellowship in Clinical Research. He is widely published, with dozens of peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, and presentations at major U.S. and international conferences. In addition to his clinical and academic work, Dr. Conte is a highly experienced medical expert witness. He is known for delivering high-quality, evidence-based opinions grounded in current research and best clinical practices. Attorneys consistently praise his clear, well-reasoned reports, rigorous diagnostic accuracy, and credibility during deposition and trial testimony. Dr. Conte takes pride in conducting independent, objective evaluations—including thorough patient examinations when appropriate—and producing meticulous, detail-oriented reports that stand up to cross-examination.
