Mrs. Gwendolyn Miller is an accomplished expert witness, speaker, consultant and who has dedicated her career to addressing racial issues. With over 15 years of experience in the field, Mrs. Miller has become a well-known authority on topics such as diversity, equity, inclusion, racial microaggressions, and unconscious bias. Mrs. Miller has provided expert witness services in matters involving alleged racial discrimination, including, but not limited to, instances involving various forms of racial microaggressions and unconscious bias. Her expertise in these areas is based on decades of training, education, and practical experience. Mrs. Miller has been hired as an expert witness in several cases, including one where a college professor was accused of racial discrimination when it came to promotion and advancement. She was also hired in a case where a student and his parents claimed that he was treated unfairly by educators and students at his school because of his race. Additionally, she was involved in a case where an attorney's actions and comments were alleged to have included racial microaggressions that influenced the jury's verdict. Mrs. Miller, founder of Addressing Racial Microaggressions, LLC, is an expert on implicit bias and racial microaggressions. She has extensive experience presenting these topics to organizations and educational institutions. She has shared her insights and expertise at several conferences, including the National Association for Multicultural Education, the Teachers' College Roundtable on Multicultural Psychology and Education, the National Conference on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in Higher Education, the American Psychological Association Convention, and the National Association of Independent Schools People of Color Conference. As a consultant and trainer, Mrs. Miller specializes in providing comprehensive and highly effective services that help teams reduce the incidence of microaggressions and implicit bias in various settings, including personal life, academic institutions, and the workplace. Her workshops are specifically designed to provide attendees with an in-depth understanding of the negative impact of implicit bias and microaggressions on marginalized communities. Mrs. Miller is a highly experienced and knowledgeable instructor in the field of diversity and inclusion. Her impressive expertise was reflected in her work at The Institute for Diversity Certification (IDC), where she taught various strategies for preparing executives for the Certified Diversity Executive (CDE) exam and the Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) exam. Her classes covered a wide range of topics, such as cultural competency, gender equality, and disability rights, among others. Mrs. Miller obtained her Master of Science in Education (M.S. Ed) degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
