Expert in all forms of stress testing, cardiac procedures, cardiac imaging and post-MI care. I was a key hospitalist on USNS COMFORT's response to COVID-19 in New York City March 2020-May 2020. I leveraged my early experience in COVID to becoming an expert in sudden cardiac death, COVID cardiomyopathy and long COVID. As a Naval officer from September 2003- June 2022 I served in many leadership roles including Department Head, Acting Director for Cardiology, Acting Director of Medical Services for an overseas hospital and Medical Department Head of a ship USS FORT MCHENRY (LSD 43). I served a total of 15 years active Naval service and several additional years of Inactive Ready Reserves at Rush Medical College. During my time in the military, I distinguished myself with 1 Joint Commendation Medal for service at Walter Reed National Military Center. I received 2 additional Naval Commendation Medals for sustained superior performance of duties. In addition, I received Overseas and Humanitarian service medals for my service at Naval Hospital Naples and USNS COMFORT respectively. While on my final tour at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, I was awarded the academic rank of Master Clinician. I was also in charge of the Cardiology education for hundreds of military physician trainees in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Transitional Interns, Psychiatry interns, etc. It was my honor to serve to the best of my ability. When I left active Naval service, I joined MainLine Healthcare / Lankenau Heart Group as a General Cardiologist employed in full-time practice of inpatient/outpatient Cardiovascular Diseases. I have continued to educate physician's assistant students, nurse practitioner students, and have have provided additional clinical education to approximately 8 employed nurse practitioners.
