Additional Information

Richard Auerbach, MD has been a general pediatrician and assistant professor of pediatrics since 1998. He completed a chief residency and hospitalist year following training at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. He remains active on staff at Danbury Hospital / Western CT Health Network. As an Associate Professor of clinical pediatrics through the Universities of CT and VT, and Ross University, he has taught countless medical students and residents, as well as participating in weekly CME activities. Recently, he and his wife, Julia Auerbach, MD JD, established MD Consult Services. The goal of this endeavor is to provide comprehensive medical opinions for case reviews and legal proceedings in the areas of Pediatrics (Richard) and Family Medicine (Julia). Both are Board certified in their respective fields and highly regarded in the communities in which they work. MDConsult Services has provided numerous comprehensive case reviews for attorneys. Both physicians are available for depositions and appearances in court. Both physicians have written and or published various articles and policy papers in their respective fields--as well as receiving numerous awards--leading to and achieving the highest levels of care. We can provide unbiased medical consultations for personal injury cases as well as criminal proceedings. Our opinions are based exclusively on the facts of the specific case, without regard to retaining counsel. We offer up to date interpretations of patient presentations, clinical findings, case management, and natural history of highly variable conditions with even more variable outcomes. Whether standards of care were met and how an outcome was affected is the key to any medical malpractice or personal injury case. This is the area in which we excel and can assist you, for a reasonable fee. We look forward to serving your needs.
