Sajeve S. Thomas, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist at Orlando Health Cancer Institute. He specializes in the treatment of melanoma, sarcoma and gastrointestinal malignancies. Dr. Thomas earned his medical degree at University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at University of South Florida College of Medicine, where he received the Outstanding Resident award. He completed his hematology and oncology fellowship at University of Florida, where he became chief fellow and board review coordinator teaching 4-6 lectures a month to the fellows, residents and medical students. Dr. Thomas serves as an assistant professor at both Florida State University College of Medicine and University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He serves as an oncology consultant for numerous pharmaceuticals both for the speaker's bureau and advisory boards with time spent teaching community oncologists with the latest in immunotherapies, viral and targeted therapies. He is also a clinical investigator for the Cutaneous-Melanoma/Sarcoma and GI section of the Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center. He also consults as an expert witness for both defendant and plaintiff cases. Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He has been doing expert witness work for more than 7-8+ years with more than 80 plus case experience including deposition and trial experience.
