Dr. Sharna Wood is a SEAK-trained consulting neuropsychologist who has independently practiced in Texas since 2009, although she has worked in assessment since 2001. Her training was primarily in the public hospital system in Fort Worth, but she experienced a wide variety of training settings, including neurocognitive rehabilitation, private practice, and rural outreach. Her professional career includes several faculty and director positions in the areas of psychology and neuropsychology. Dr. Wood’s professional affiliations include the National Alliance of Professional Providers of Psychology, where she served on the executive board, as events coordinator, and associate editor of The Clinical Practitioner. She is also a member of Aerospace Medical Association, and the National Academy of Neuropsychology. Dr. Wood's practice location is in Cleburne, Texas, near Fort Worth, but she regularly travels to evaluate individuals for whom travel is difficult.
