Dr Ventura retired from the Navy in 2020 after a 20+ year career as a submarine officer, Diving and Undersea Medical Officer, and Emergency physician. He has a Master's Degree in Public Health (Health Care Admin) and has worked in practice environments ranging from large urban trauma centers to rural critical access hospitals, including free standing Emergency departments and an austere military hospital. He has served as an employed physician, ED director, and locums tenens physician at a variety of locations. Previously an Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support instructor.
