I am a mechanical engineer specializing in the design and forensic failure analysis of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing/piping, and fire suppression systems. I have experience designing the mechanical systems of healthcare facilities, educational facilities, industrial/manufacturing facilities, office buildings and Federal Government projects. Additionally, I spent time as a facilities engineer, evaluating existing mechanical systems, and providing recommendations as to maintenance, repair, and system upgrades. My forensic engineering experience includes investigating construction defects, mechanical equipment failures, and complex system failures involving chillers, boilers, turbines, solar-thermal systems, heating and chilled water systems, and building automation controls. I have provided expert testimony in deposition and at trial in state and federal courts of law.
