Dr. Nur Afreen Afsar is a Board Certified OBGYN by American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a Certified Laparoscopic Surgeon by the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery Program. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, a highly selective accelerated medical program in NYC, and obtained her medical degree from New York Medical College. She then completed her OBGYN Residency and OBGYN Hospitalist Fellowship from NYU Langone Long Island. In residency, she received numerous awards including the Most Outstanding Resident in Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic Surgery. She also served on the Quality Improvement Committee reviewing and presenting cases to the board monthly.
