Highly experienced cosmetic surgeon in active clinical practice. Board-certified in plastic surgery, hand surgery, and general surgery. Georgetown and UPenn educated/trained. Well published. Significant teaching and research experience. Experienced expert witness – has reviewed over fifty cases and testified several times at deposition and trial.
Complications in surgery and identifying causes of death are critical, requiring an in-depth record analysis and witness depositions. The approach i take is similar to what the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) performs after an airplane crash. There is always one place in a disaster which can be identified as the causation. The surgeon, anesthesia, medical staff, institution, laboratory records, and the condition of the patient all must be looked into to determine what happened.
