I am a double-board certified forensic psychiatrist with over 40 years of experience. I received my medical degree from the University of Tennessee and completed a rotating internship, followed by a two-year adult psychiatry residency and a two-year child psychiatry residency at the University of Utah. I am board-certified in both adult and forensic psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Throughout my career in private practice, I have conducted independent medical examinations (IMEs) and participated in trial work, representing plaintiffs and defendants. Much of my experience includes work in civilian settings, as well as jails, prisons, and mental health hospitals, with a strong emphasis on collateral contact and psychological testing. I am a Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and licensed to practice in Montana only.
