With 25 years of experience in the nursing profession, I have the skills, knowledge and background to provide quality expert witness services. I am an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse actively working in Emergency Medicine in both the Emergency Department and Urgent Care settings. I first began my nursing career as a Registered Nurse in 2000, and for 17 years, I worked predominantly in the Emergency Department with contract work in the Intensive Care and Post-Anesthesia Care Units in Central Louisiana and in San Antonio, Texas. I obtained my MSN in 2017 and became a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. The entirety of my employment since that time has been in a 39 bed ER that averages 150 patients per day. I also work in an Urgent Care clinic on a part-time basis. My clinical experience, coupled with my love of research and problem-solving, makes me both equipped and appetent to exceed the expectations required of an expert witness.
