Dr. Boxer is a board certified urologist with 38 years experience in private and academic practice. He is a Professor of Clinical Urology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the University of Wisconsin (Madison), and was a Clinical Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin (Milwaukee) and the University of Miami (Florida). He is an attending urologist at the Los Angeles (UCLA) Veterans Administration Hospital. He has been awarded a Presidential Citation for excellence in Urology, Best Doctors nationally and 5 times locally (Milwaukee). He was a finalist for Surgeon General of the United States in 1997 and 2001. He was a citizen representative for the US at the World Health Organization. He has been a guest lecturer 65 times, wrote 14 chapters in books and 73 medical journal articles.
