Dr. Herald Ostovar is an actively practicing, full-time, Board Certified, Emergency Medicine physician. His scope of practice has ranged from small, single coverage emergency departments to large multispecialty trauma centers and children's hospitals. He has worked with and helped implement various EMRs including, EPIC, Cerner, Meditech and Medhost. He is residency trained and certified in bedside ultrasound. He has also been involved in physician group contract negotiation and mediation. He holds active medical licenses in multiple states, including CA, and TX. He is well versed and adept at multiple emergency procedures such as endotracheal intubation, direct and video laryngoscopy, lumbar puncture, fracture and joint reductions, trauma and cardiac resuscitation, procedural sedation. He also has many hours of training and experience as a flight physician. He is available to work as an expert for both plaintiff and defense.
