She attends high risk deliveries, stabilizes these newborns in the delivery room, and cares for medically complex neonates for months after their birth. She also has extensive experience stabilizing critically ill neonates for transport to higher-level tertiary care hospitals. She is a distinguished educator, having held academic appointments as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and interim Associate Program Director of a Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship program in the Boston area.
