While there I performed and published research regarding control and regulation of growth hormone and IGF-1 as well as regulation of the HPA axis. I obtained my medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012 and subsequently completed Emergency Medicine residency there in 2015. I am Board Certified with the American Board of Emergency Medicine as of 2018. I have been a practicing emergency medicine attending physician since 2012.
