He completed a diagnostic radiology residency, then a two-year neuroradiology fellowship, and then a nuclear medicine fellowship, all at NYU Medical Center. Dr. Horner's residency and these two fellowships afforded him a wide breadth of knowledge. He is ABR board certified in diagnostic radiology with the Special Competency in Nuclear Radiology and the CAQ in Neuroradiology. Dr. Horner is an NCR authorized user.
On a daily basis, he interpreted a wide range of exams. He has routinely interpreted neuroradiology exams, such as MRIs and CT scans of the head, neck, and spine. Dr. Horner has performed over 1000 myelograms and even more diagnostic lumbar punctures. In addition to neuroradiology images, he routinely has read plain x-rays (chest, abdomen, and the extremities) as well as body CT scans (chest, abdomen, and pelvis)....
