I am Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and Neurocritical Care. In addition to active practice in these fields, I also specialize in acute stroke treatment as a member of an academic institutional stroke team. My broad clinical training and experience have provided a strong foundation to review a wide range of cases, as described in the keywords above; this includes all patients presenting to the emergency department or intensive care unit along with additional subspecialty expertise in emergent and critical neurological conditions.
I provide patient care at both an academic tertiary medical center and a community hospital. I have extensive research experience, serving an investigator for multiple studies, including Principal Investigator for a multimillion dollar research grant related to stroke.
