Dr. Howard K. Steinman is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon who has provided expert witness services in Mohs surgery, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology since 2000. He has been retained in more than 70 cases for both plaintiffs and defendants and has testified in 13 depositions and 8 trials. His expert opinions are grounded in over four decades of active clinical practice and more than 30,000 Mohs procedures performed.
In 2024, Dr. Steinman received the American Academy of Dermatology Presidential Citation for his dedication as an educator of excellence in Mohs surgery. That same year, the American Society for Mohs Surgery honored him as an Honorary Lifetime Fellow with Distinction, the Society’s highest membership award.
