I actively practice as an attending physician in the three specialties of emergency medicine, neurocritical care, and acute stroke treatment (as part of an academic institutional stroke team). I also have extensive research experience, and I'm currently an investigator for multiple studies, including principal investigator for a multimillion dollar research grant related to stroke. I am board certified in emergency medicine and neurocritical care. I completed residency training in emergency medicine and a fellowship in neurocritical care, stroke, and research (including an MS degree in clinical and translational research).
