Dr. Sarah Lowenthal is a nationally recognized Eating Disorder Expert and Board Certified Family Physician. With over 20 years of experience in the field, she provides specialized medical caring for children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders. Dr. Lowenthal is one of the few physicians nationwide who is designated by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) as a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS-S). As a former Board Member of the IAEDP SF Bay Area Chapter and a member of the Academy of Eating Disorders, Dr. Lowenthal provides supervision and education to other physicians in the field. She is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and licensed in multiple states.
