Dr. Uslan is a board-certified infectious disease specialist and serves as chief of infection prevention at a major academic teaching hospital. Dr. Uslan has extensive experience with diagnosis, management, and treatment of a wide range of infectious diseases including pneumonia, urinary tract infections, meningitis, endocarditis, and osteomyelitis. He received his medical degree from the University of Southern California and completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in infectious diseases at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Uslan has a particular interest in hospital infections, infections due to multi-drug resistant organisms, prevention of infections/infection control, and appropriate antibiotic use.
