Dr. Houseman has been working as an expert in medical testimony for over 10 years. She initially trained and worked as a registered nurse prior to medical school and has worked as a general floor nurse nurse and as a critical care nurse in California. She went to medical school and completed her residency at the University of California in San Diego. She has worked as a hospitalist in California, Tennessee and as a primary care and consulting Internal Medicine physician in Washington. She is currently an active hospitalist physician in Washington State. She is able to to offer opinions and perspectives throughout the continuum of the hospital experience as well as life expectancy. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a physician leader and is actively involved in quality improvement and peer review. Expert cases have involved pressure wounds, sepsis, medical device failures, missed and delayed diagnoses.
