Dr Mittal is a Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center since 2015. She sees patients with all types of pediatric cancers including leukemia, lymphoma, solid cancers and brain tumors as well as benign hematologic conditions. She sees these patients in clinic, infusion room settings for administration of chemotherapy and transfusions and admitted to inpatient floor. She leads and is a co-investigator for various oncology and hematology clinical trials. I am a practicing pediatric oncologist at a major academic pediatric hospital in Philadelphia, PA. I am board certified in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and Clinical Informatics. I have experience caring for children with many types of cancer including leukemia and lymphoma. The pediatric hospital where I work is one of the largest in the United States and frequently sees extremely complicated cases from around the country and the world. I have experience caring for patients both on and off of clinical trials as well as experience caring for children receiving immunotherapies and bone marrow transplantation.
